Sequesterant, protective colloid, dispersant, washing off aid &
iron sequesterant
Technical Composition: Modified Organic Acids
Attributes:
An excellent sequestering agent which is good for reducing water
hardness, controlling iron and calcium, good anti-redepositing
agent for soils in the scouring bath & unfixed dyes in the dye
bath, good soaping off agent in the washing off stage. Enhances
brightness and whiteness of bleached substrate besides, better
leveling effect during dyeing and good wet rub fastness in
soaping.
Application Dosage:
Amquest-400 is highly recommended for use in the scouring bath
during pre-treatment, as a dye bath additive & low foam soaping
agent. 0.5 to 1 gpl. 1 gpl will reduce approx 400 of calcium
hardness and will also control iron in the alkaline medium.
